Oak Harbor Opens Review of Proposed 2027–2028 Budget

Oak Harbor’s proposed preliminary 2027–2028 Budget Book is available for public review.

According to the Chamber’s October 28 memo, a preliminary-budget public hearing is planned for the November 4, 2026 City Council meeting. Discussion includes a proposed Transportation Benefit District 0.1% sales tax increase, utility tax adjustments, and the Master Fee Schedule. A hearing on 2027 property tax levies is also planned. A public meeting and final budget adoption are scheduled for December 1, 2026.
